Our Story

Here at Heritage Holders, my goal has always been simple — to create something beautiful and lasting to honour life’s most meaningful moments.

It all began after becoming a Mum and realising how many precious documents — birth certificates, milestone records, and the little pieces of paper that quietly tell our story — end up tucked away in drawers or scattered between plastic sleeves, random binders, or boxes. There was never a truly beautiful, intentional way to keep them together. I wanted something that felt special… something that looked as important as the information it held. And when I couldn’t find it, I decided to create it.

But the truth is, the very first seed of Heritage Holders was planted long before that — with my Japanese Akita, Kazumi. She was my companion and emotional anchor during one of the most challenging seasons of my life. When she passed away while I was pregnant with my first child, it broke my heart. Grief has a way of magnifying what matters, and losing her made me truly understand how deeply we rely on the things that help us honour the memories we never want to forget. That’s why the first collection I created was for pedigree dogs — it was my way of honouring her, and the bond we shared.

As Heritage Holders grew, so did its purpose. I realised that not every story looks the same. Some families welcome new life; others navigate profound loss. Some stories are joyful, some complicated, and some are carried quietly in the hearts of parents who have experienced the unimaginable.

Because of this, one of my deepest wishes is to use this little business as a way to give back. I hope to donate Celebration of Life folders to families who have had stillborn babies or lost children young — a gentle, dignified way to honour their child’s memory. No family should have to store their precious documents in a plastic sleeve or a manila folder during the hardest moment of their life. If something I create can offer even a small sense of care, respect, or comfort, then this business has served its purpose.

Each Holder is designed here in Queensland and crafted to be timeless, elegant, and understated — a piece created with genuine purpose. They are made to protect what matters most: our memories.

What started as a small idea has grown into something that carries meaning far beyond what I first imagined. Heritage Holders is about preserving memories with heart and intention — creating pieces that you’ll be proud to keep, display, and one day pass down.
